As Chief Customer Officer, Nilesh’s current portfolio includes leading sales initiatives across divisions covering sales force automation, distributor automation, customer service cells and special projects in Sales and Marketing. He aims to create best in class practices in Sales and Marketing and to make Pidilite one of the most aspirational organizations to work for.
This is Nilesh’s second stint at Pidilite. In his previous assignment (April 2009-December 2014), he was President Sales and Marketing, Fevicol and prior to that, President Sales and Marketing, CP Maintenance Division.
Prior to Pidilite, Nilesh was CEO, Consumer Brands at Ruchi Soya Industries, where he was responsible for growing the Nutrela business. He turned this around in a span of just eighteen months, making it profitable and restructuring the business.
His earlier stint at MIRC Electronics Ltd. (ONIDA) as Chief Operating Officer – Service and Business Head and National Sales Head of Onida saw him spearhead the launch of a new brand Logo for small town India.
An industry veteran with over 22 years of experience, he has also held senior leadership positions at Asian Paints and Subhiksha. At Asian Paints, Nilesh was responsible for setting up the Large User Business nationally.
He is a Post Graduate in Management from Symbiosis Institute of Management and a Bachelor of Engineering from Pune University. His other interests include Photography.
